We have already published some articles about dissertation chapters and parts. But here is a short list and some definitions of the segments:
Abstract: Small scale summary of the entire research paper containing 300 to 500 words.
Introduction: the starting point of the discussion. It explains the background of the study and the significance of the topic. The part also contains the thesis statement.
Literature review: The part that synthesizes the different research materials related to the topic.
Methodology: It is the chapter that extends explanations about data gathering and data analyses.
Data and Analysis: The chapter that presents numerical and information data for the research.
Discussion: It is the chapter that explains the relationship of the results to the thesis statement.
Conclusion: Overall answer to the problem statement. It should contain the entire summary of the paper.
