The author’s name in inverted order is followed by comma, and then you can write the title of work, it will be followed by place and date of publications, then you can mention the no. of volumes and then you should mention the concerned page numbers. In case of book or web page or article the important part is to capitalize the first letter of the title’s first word. In case of all major works to emphasize those it is advisable to use capital letters.
The full form of MLA is Modern Language Association and it is used extensively in articles related to liberal arts and humanities. The reference page here also will come at a new page and the word will come at the center of the header at that particular page and you don’t need to underline that particular word. Just like the other pages of your writing it should also be formatted in the same manner giving one inch margin in all the sizes and the font type and size should also be same as the original writing.
