What is a hypothesis? It is an assertion that is based purely on your “guess” about the possible outcome of the research process. Of course, guessing in this kind of a task is not simply based on wild imaginations. You must pattern your hypothesis on the thesis statement. Actually, the thesis statement of the research paper can be considered the general hypothesis of an idea.

How can I write a thesis hypothesis? A research proposal intends to prove something out of researching. Therefore, you should consider at least two possible faces of the results so that you can eliminate being biased to the actual intention of the research. In this manner, a thesis hypothesis can be broken down into two parameters if we are to talk about the statistical methods of proving your thesis statement in the dissertation introduction.

The thesis hypothesis can be written in several sentences. You may create a simple list in your problem statement in the dissertation. You can then re-evaluate your hypothesis at the end of the research procedure when you are about to write the Conclusion. Only then you can answer whether your “guess” was affirmed or not. On the other hand, there are also some thesis reference notions concerning the numerical aspect of hypothesis testing. You have probably heard of the terms Null and Alternative Hypotheses.

The Null Hypothesis is the actual concept that you wish to prove. On the other hand, the Alternative Hypothesis is the other face of the result that is unexpected but is very possible to happen. There is a relationship between these two numerical hypotheses which can be proven when you learn how to use statistics. Meanwhile, let us simply denote these hypotheses as complementing each other. If the Null Hypothesis is rejected or not rejected, the converse status applies to the Alternative Hypothesis.
